"The spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord." (Luke 4:18-19, KJV)
Our Mission
Jesus established His Church to be an extension of himself. Therefore, the Church's mission must exhibit a character consistent with the ministry of Jesus Christ. The church must 'walk worthy of its call' (Ephesians 4:1) living a life of righteousness (Romans 6:13, 18) so that individuals will experience its transforming power to become right with God and be right in relationship with others. (1 Corinthians 8:1-3; Romans 14:17)
Principles of Faith
We believe in one God who manifests Himself in the persons of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He provides salvation to all through Christ Jesus. We observe two sacraments: water Baptism of believers and the Lord's Supper in remembrance of His sacrifice on the cross.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, the revelation of His Grace through which all who repent and are faithful in Christ Jesus are cleansed in the Spirit, and inherit His gift of eternal life.
I AM WHO GOD SAYS I AM
I AM washed in the Blood of Jesus Christ.
I AM joint heir with Christ.
I AM the head and not the tail.
I AM above always and not beneath.
I AM more than a conqueror.
I AM an overcomer. I overcome them by the Blood of the Lamb, and the words of my testimony. Every test is for my testimony.
I CAN do all things through Christ, who gives me strength.
I AM the apple of His eyes.
I AM blessed to be a blessing.
God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power and love, and sound mind.
Every good and perfect gift is from God.
My steps are ordered by the Lord.
Greater is He that is within me, than he that is in the world.
As Christ is, so AM I.
I AM the righteousness of God by Christ Jesus.
